Hand-stitch special photos together in patterns of your choice. Remember and integrate those moments that you want to hold onto, that brings a smile to your face and warmth in your heart.

weekly 2 hours over 6 weeks

Dedicate time to interact with your artwork, stimulating a response similar to meditation. Disconnect from worries, reflect calmly, and distance yourself from the stress of the day. This workshop provides a space to combine peace and solitude with enriching group sharing around sweet life experiences. Not only will you leave with a future heirloom or gift for someone, but also sweet memories shared with new friends.

For Professional Development purposes a working understanding of Family of Origin Theory is required

No prior art experience needed. This workshop requires the ability to thread a needle, and work with pliers and soft wire.

6 weeks (2 hours per week)

All materials, instructions, sound meditation, and light refreshments.

A total of 24 printed black and white and coloured photos on photo paper. You can opt to use themes like a loved one, children, males, females, pets, your family, a time frame, a specific generation, a special event, a value (to name a few).

To add a unique approach to your patchwork, you are welcome to bring additional cotton, wire, thin rope, ribbon, wool etc and thicker needles to do the sewing.
