The 6-hour workshop can be booked and paid for through the online booking system. Workshops that do not have sufficient minimum numbers will be cancelled, and a full refund will be provided to participants of that workshop. The minimum number of participants in the classes is 4, and the maximum number is 10.
2.Beads Deeds course
The 6 week course must be paid in full when booking to secure the spot in the course. Courses that do not have sufficient minimum numbers will be cancelled, and a full refund will be provided to participants of that course. The minimum number of students in the courses is 4, and the maximum number is 10. Payment is through the online booking system.
3.Stitch Enrich course
The 6 week course must be paid in full when booking to secure the spot in the course. Courses that do not have sufficient minimum numbers will be cancelled, and a full refund will be provided to participants of that course. Refunds and Cancellation fees are as follows:
If you 14 or more days prior to commencement of course/workshop – full refund (or fee held in credit for six months)
3 – 13 days prior to commencement of course/workshop – 50% refund (or credit for six months)
0 – 7 days prior to commencement of class/workshop – non-refundable
If you enrol in a course/workshop -- but then can't or don't want to do it (for whatever reason), you may give your spot to a friend or colleague, like a lovely "Gift” or simply sell it to them. Please inform me beforehand to adjust the attendance list.
Missed Class Policy:
No refunds will be given for missed classes.
No replacement classes will be provided for students who miss classes.
No credit is given for missed classes for the cost of enrolment in other courses.
Illness:
If you are feeling ill you should not attend class. Staying home not only allows your body to rest and aid in the recovery process, but it also allows you to prevent spreading germs to others.
If you have to reschedule because of a genuine medical emergency, your booking will be transferred to an alternative future date that suits you, or I offer full credit that you can redeem within 6 months.
If a workshop has to be re-scheduled because of illness on my part or some kind of world event or a natural disaster, your fee will be held in credit until such time as it's convenient for you to be able to attend.
4.Play Away Retreat
Bookings are subject to request and approval. Bookings for the accommodation will be processed through Wattlebird Song’s Airbnb listing. Once the accommodation booking is confirmed, and invoice for the workshop will be issued. The Retreat is designed to be restorative, restful and calm. As the Wattlebird Song Suite is classified as a Short Term Rental, the following House Rules need to be adhered to.
House Rules
Parties & Gatherings – This property has a strict no visitor and party policy.
Music & Noise – All guests must not create excessive noise that may disturb Owner and any surrounding properties. Amplified music, loud movies, or other such entertainment must not be audible from outside the property between 9.00 pm to 9.00 am every day. “Quiet and Restorative Time” will be a non-negotiable as this is designed to be a restful retreat.
Outdoor Use – Outdoor area and courtyard use is strictly between the hours of 7.00 am to 9.00 pm every day. All guests must make their way inside the property and keep noise to a minimum from 9:00pm.
Car Parking – Car parking is on-site in the allocated car bay only.
Smoking/Vaping - This property has a strict no smoking policy. If there is a clear odour of any smoking odour upon checkout or cigarette butts have been found, guests will be charged a deodorising fee.
Pets - We have a strict no-pets policy. The Owner has two old dogs that will be kept separate from the guest area.
This is an adult retreat - no children allowed.
If guests fail to adhere to the house rules, they will be at risk of having their booking cancelled immediately.
Owner, police, security, rangers, or other engaged professionals may attend in person to have the guest/s removed, lockbox code and door lock/s may also be required to be changed depending on the circumstances.
If Owner receives any noise or anti-social behaviour complaints about guests, during arrival, and during departure, and at any time throughout the occupancy, they will be dealt with immediately upon receipt of said complaint.
Owner will inform the guests through email and attend in person informing them of the situation. Any breach of house rules and based on severity of the breach the reservation may be terminated.
Refunds and cancellations
For a full refund of the accommodation and 2-hour workshop fees, the guest must cancel on the Airbnb platform within 48 hours of booking and at least 14 full days
For a 50% refund of the accommodation and 2-hour workshop fees, the guest must cancel on the Airbnb platform 7 full days before the local check-in time (shown in the confirmation email), otherwise no refund will be issued.
If the guest cancels on the Airbnb platform less than 7 days in advance or decides to leave early after check-in or not attend the workshop, the accommodation fee for the nights not spent is not refunded. The workshop fee is not refunded.
If guests break the house-rules, they will be asked to leave and no refund will be given.
Due to insurance requirements the Retreat booking need to be in the Guest(s) name(s) with verified identity, and therefore cannot be given to another person(s) as a gift or sold to another person.
